i was going to write a post about how pleased i am that John Lennon is my favourite Beatle. How the more boring and together people prefer Paul, people prefer George only do it to be different and how Ringo prefers Ringo.

I like my heroes honest, i like them to make mistakes and sometimes say the wrong things - even though we can see they do them for the right reasons.

i like my heroes to cut through the bullshit (or at least acknowledge when the BS gets the better of them)

And that is why i like John Lennon

Oh and the fact that he was a fucking genius songwriter and the Beatles was his band.
