i felt silly when i wrote this song - a long time ago. And i dont think i've ever felt silly since. Still the song remains. I suppose i must of been mental at the time but i planned it as a b-side. I used "womens problems" as the start point but i didnt even get to the end of "...problems" before i got bored and switched subjects. Or ran out of ideas. (I like to second guess peoples opinions - its very protective).
ONCE A MONTH
Use what you've canned to distract me
But whats it like to be you(ng) again?
You're over-exposed in pictures
Whatever happened to sharing the shame?
And she is coming of age - to claim me
And my form around her ring - is sha-ky
You're nearer to the end - but hidden in a box
you take out all your anger - walking on my waters
But I still follow you - I'm wherever you've been
You're nearer to the end - but my end's getting thin
I spread out all my problems
to stop myself from going under
Your weight is exposed in stitches
What happened to you blowing my cover?
And she is going through the change - to lose me
As my form around the time - was sha-ky
You're nearer to the end - but hidden in a box
you take out all your anger - walking on my waters
But I still follow you - I'm wherever you've been
You're nearer to the end - but my end's getting thin
